The sample from Santana’s famous chart topping “Maria Maria”, takes us back, way back.. the mere fact that it gets us all nostalgic means, it totally deserves place on our summer anthems list!
Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee – Despacito ft. Justin Bieber
Yes… we’re still listening to Despacito and yes, we still don’t know the words. But this version is ever so slightly remixed, that’s gotta count for something right?
J. Balvin, Willy William – Mi Gente
“Mi Gente” (My People) has becomes the first fully Spanish song to the top of the charts. We think its safe to stay, that the Latin music movement has officially taken over the charts and is here to stay!
Sal Houdini – I Just (feat. Rihanna)
This Sal Houdini track is pretty cool. What he did was basically sample a RiRi interview and incorporate it in his tune, we don’t know about you, but we’re picking up on serious Drake vibes here.
French Montana – Unforgettable (Major Lazer Remix) ft. Swae Lee
Yo French Montana totally got it write with this one, undoubtedly an unforgettably fresh tune and music video. We’ve even been vibing to it in our seats.. all summer #SummerAnthem.
DJ Khaled – I’m the One ft. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne
Here’s ‘Another One’ by the one and only DJ Khaled, we just love, enough said.
Sabrina Claudio – Belong To You
Sabrina Claudio is a rising R&B star. Her soulful, seductive sound paired with her incredible talent of writing all her own music is simply mind blowing. This songstress is a true artist at heart, did you notice all the mirrors in the video? It’s intentional, as in the song she’s actually talking to herself.
Calvin Harris – Slide ft. Frank Ocean, Migos
How does Calvin Harris do it? almost religiously churning out tune after tune. Keep em coming Calvin.
