Toni&Guy is by far one of the coolest salons in Islamabad. White brick walls, free standing mirrors, great music, an intimate space that has a boutique salon (think West LA) type vibe.
Location: 2nd Floor, Beverly Centre, Blue Area, F6. Islamabad
Service: Incredibly sweet staff, dressed to the nines and ready to be of service. It was actually a rather busy day in the salon, but I was seated on my chair on time, prepped for my treatment, offered refreshments and the stylist was with me in a matter of minutes.
Entertainment: Toni&Guy LCD’s were scattered around the salon which were great fun to watch, international runway shows and BTS footage. The magazine selection was all up to date (which was a nice surprise), I was also offered a menu of refreshments from ‘Cannoli By Cafe Soul’ that deliver directly to the salon.
Wi-Fi: Yes.
Brands: Lable M, Loreal, Olaplex, KeraStraight (for hair), Guinot (skin), Essie and OPI (nails).
Atmosphere: A little hustle and bustle as expected, great energy over all.
Service: I came in specifically for the KeraStraight Moister Boost hair treatment, as my hair tends to get really dry and frizzy, particularly because I’m no stranger to bleach and as our summer takes no prisoners, I was in dire need of some help.
My assigned stylist (Kashif) talked me through the treatment, which was quite simply a 4 step process; Cleanse, Treat (hair mask application), Dry (with a hairdryer – no brush, so no yanking and pulling was involved) and Rinse. I decided to have a rough blow dry, so I could see (and feel) for myself the result. All in all, the treatment took approximately 40mins, my hair felt soft, conditioned and looked healthier and shiny, much like it does when you have new hair colour application.
I’m now 3 weeks into my treatment and my hair still feels soft, light and is much easier to manage. I was told the benefits of the KeraStraight Moister Boost treatment lasts up to one month. Although, I think it will last little longer (which is brilliant!). Kashif suggested that I pick up the KeraStraight Moister Mask for home maintenance, I’ve only applied this twice, as it’s astonishingly hydrating and does exactly what it says on the back of the jar.
