Chinese New Year by Olomopolo Media

Celebrate the Chinese Lunar year with the OLO PEOPLE. The family-friendly event will feature a cultural sharing presentation including the significance, customs, and activities. Numerous artists will showcase their work alongside the chosen domestic talent. Vicky Zhuang Yi-Yin, who is a first generation Chinese immigrant, will share her experiences of the grand holiday.

Sameen Qasim & Co. Live at Mocca by Mocca Coffee

Music is fuel for the soul. Mocca brings you a fun-filled musical event to kick-start your weekend.  It will host Sameen Qasim, a vocal powerhouse who was featured in Season 2 of Nescafe Basement as a lead vocalist. She will be performing at MOCCA with her talented band members Syed Misbah Uddin on guitars, Altamash Sever on Bass and Luke Azariah on Keys with originals and covers of some old favourites!

THP Movie Night by the Happieee Place

Are you true Manga/Anime fan? To help you enjoy it, THP brings you “Grave of the Fireflies (火垂るの墓 Hotaru no Haka)” ; a Japanese animated war drama film based on the 1967 semi-autobiographical short story of the same name by Akiyuki Nosaka, which is centered on his experiences during and after the American firebombing of Kobe in 1945.  The movie portrays tragic consequences of war and has won many awards.  Come with friends and family and enjoy this emotional ride with snacks from the THP tiffin.

Sindh Craft Festival by Culture Tourism & Antiquities Department Sindh

It’s time to promote the traditional craft of Sindh. Pay a visit to the National Museum of Pakistan, this Friday, with your friends and family and savour the Sindhi culture which is characterized by “Ralli”, “Sindhi Topi”, and “Gaj”.  Enjoy the traditional arts, crafts, music and lifestyle elements under one roof.

First Fridays Open Mic: March Edition by the Second Floor (T2F)

Muzakra – A Literary Series by Faiz Heritage Library by Lok Virsa

If you’ve always been an avid poetry fan like us, you must be familiar with the crisp Urdu shayari of Faiz.  The Faiz Heritage Library at Lok Virsa is celebrating one of the most iconic poets of urdu in an interactive session, this Friday.  The session or the “Muzakra مذاکرہ” will be a first of its kind of program. “It will help bring to fore the many facets of literature;  such as manuscripts, journals, books and other rare literature which are found exclusively at the Faiz Heritage Library”.  Become a part of these sessions to connect with some of the well-known and respected contemporary Sufi writers and social figures.
